Looks to me like I need a wider stance. When I get 33's I'm going for 15x10 alloy rims with around a 3.75" bs. That should stick em out a bit. Just not looking forward to re-gearing...

That's what I have on my runner. Definitely gets them sticking out of the body! I hit a rain puddle and looks like I went wheeling. Haha.

I sold my bumper for $150 because I was planning on building a new one anyways. Went from a good looking truck to a ghetto rig real quick.

But in the long run it will get better. Should I spend the $150 on a camshaft? Or the trail gear winch plate as a platform for the new bumper build?

I dunno about Lincoln Omaha area but i know a place called Egger Brothers that will do a superb job on gears. Theyre located on hwy 105. Its about an hour from Lincoln. Get what you pay for.

Over the weekend I installed the 268 camshaft from engnbldr. I went out and bought a timing light and got that set. The difference is noticeable. The real test will be on the highway up hills. I guess the next thing to buy is a header.

Everything inside looked pretty good. The douche I bought it from said it had the metal timing guides. It does not. They are in great shape, but plastic. The truck idles smoother now, isnt as loud, and has some more balls. Now I'm due for another tuttle trip!

Awesome!! You are going to notice the difference on the hills for sure. That's where I see the most noticeable difference with mine.

I rarely have to downshift anymore, where before that's all I was doing.

Well I definitely hope so! I'm thinking of going to tuttle this weekend for a good test drive. Having the camper on there will really be a test!

Very nice. You will have to report back. I wish I was able to go down there for a weekend. If only it was a little closet to me

Thanks Wizard.

Performance update: had the 1000 pound camper on the back and drove out to the lake. It pulled up hills better than without the camper before the new cam. So I'm excited to drive it to tuttle or elsewhere with just the topper on. It should be a huge difference. And a pic from our weekend camping.

That's great news !! Glad it pulled better with the new cam.

That's a pretty sweet setup with your camper. I can't wait to takes boys camping in my runner. Drive it into the middle of nowhere and just camp where we get stuck.

What all did you have to do to fit that 90s bed on the truck?
