You have been getting some serious work done, great job. I had the same spots inside my axle housing and the guy that helped me rebuild my axle said it is nothing to worry about.

Got carried away with the cutoff wheel on some rust holes and did some patching.



The floor pan is still terrible but at least the big hole is gone. shooting for its maiden voyage November 20-22 at Tuttle.

Spartan locker 3rd going into the runner.



Each one of these old Toyota's that I take 3rd's out of the E brake cables never want to come off. No amount of liquid wrench and bfh swinging works. So my awesome work around is cutting the e-brake cables. Haha who needs one when u have a manual transmission?

Did some garage therapy yesterday. Getting the xfr case mount put together. It's 3/8 steel. Welded a plate on the back for peace of mind.

Son of a..... I made about 6 of those t case braces. I don't know if I told you but I would of given you one for free. Truck need one!?

Oh well this one is clocked 10 degrees to match my adapter. I actually sold the truck last weekend.

I think this one would of worked. It's basically just a cut out of the center and you weld on the braces as needed. Either way awesome job.

I'll always take a compliment from a professional welder. Ha. I shake too much for prettier welds and my wire surges, its not a smooth feed. Oh well.

Surges as in the wire pushed back into the gun when you're welding? Without seeing/hearing it you can try 3 things.

1. Hold the gun closer to the puddle
2. Turn the wire speed down
3. Turn amperage up.

Try each one individually.

Xfr-case mount almost done. Just needs the mounting points burned on. And I pulled the driveshaft apart... wtf? I thought it had more slack than that!

Haha. They are pretty easy to pull apart if they have seen a life of getting regular Lube. I had one that needed heated with a torch to almost cherry red before we could beat it off with a hammer.

I am trying to order some OME springs for my rig. I thought abotu All Pro but decided for what I use the runner for OME would be best .

We NEED to do a little trip to ashland at that place where we can camp and fish. Ill bring the boys. They would love it.

So I wrote out a post a few days ago and then the post failed. So long story short, tcase is out. Its dirty af.



Im kinda freaking out cuz I have 2 weeks to get a bunch of work done before a wheeling trip but other things keep taking my time. Had to fix my hottub before freezing temps and a pipe decided to leak in my basement. Hopefully after work I can get some runner work done.

Drilled the hole for the extra shifter and the crawl box is bolted in.
