I hope the jimmy is what he says it is. And that he needs the cash bad enough that you can get it for a good price.

You are making great progress on the axle!! I really really need to get the high steer and do mine. Im glad you are posting alot of pics during the process.

The newer the better IMO, the differencees in wiring are negligable but if you aldready have a deal on the 95 jimmy go for it.

Saying that I'm utterly usless with wiring but I know people who aren't.

The bottom spring perch will hold your ubolts in place. That tab by the shock mount can come off. Im bummed I dont live closer so I could come help build the axle. A wire wheel and a corded drill was by best friend when cleaning up my axle.

PyroJoe comes from when I was little (like 6) and was starting a lot of unnecessary things on fire lol.

Removed my knuckles... cleaned grease out of housing...that sucked. cut off bracket for swaybar link on the right side between the shock mount and upper spring perch. Gonna go get some gas and clean it all up and i think flat black paint. Then ill wire wheel the entire thing after some more grinding. Then i can pop the upper gusset on and stitch weld it on the housing.Hopefully get the housing painted then ill clean up the knucles and paint them too.Still have to order a rebuild kit.

Very nice!! What kind of paint did you go with? Engine enamel? I like that stuff. Seems pretty tough with a lot of coats.

You are making great progress.

Looks good whatever kind of paint it is!! I was thinking about using POR15 or the eastwood stuff I had in the past. But sure if that's the route I want to go.

Wow! You did some work this weekend! My vote goes for the cheap paint too, since most of it comes off off-road anyway, and cheap paint makes for easy touch-up later on. Personally, I sprayed Rustoleum diluted 5% thru my gun. Haven't been having that good of luck with the POR-15 @ ~$40/small can and SEM self etching primer @ $18/can.

Called allpro today to check my order status...Says they ship out today and were kind enough to throw in a set of NEEDED jigs for the tubes.YAY!!!!By the way everyone complains about poor customer service ususally but I have to say allpro are great people to talk to and deal with, great customer service in my opinion. Theyre shipping from Montana so maybe theyll be here by the weekend.

Got a parts washer now so im going to set it up and try cleaning the knuckles tonight so i can get them painted.

Hey guys sorry to jump in here with a question I'm new. Looking for info on a 10 bolt sas. I have a 90 std cab I'm building with a 95 blazer CPI, 4l60e, and yota t case. I have been an auto/diesel tech for 15 years if I can help with any questions. Any info where to look would be great

You mean like a 10 bolt from a K5 blazer right?

Your biggerst hastles are going to be lining up the spring perches and adapting the GM & yota yolks. Otherwise it should be pretty strait forward.

I don't see the advantage though the 10 bolts aren't particulaily strong even a dana 44 would be better which is still a bit weaker then the yota axle, atleast where it counts.

If you go that route you will want to make sure you get one with a flat topped nuckle for hi steel adaption, I don't belive that was standard on the 10 bolts but I'm no expert, there have been lots of threads done on putting dana 44s under yotas it would be pretty much the same thing.

Keep up the good work korn! I'm personally just in the middle of reassembling my r150-ax15 trans for my swap. I had started a thread when it was going to be a buick SC V6 but I'll have to start a new one soon.
