Roni - maybe you can stop by one day this week for about 20-30 minutes and I can cut that exhaust off for ya. I'll be working on my junk replacing the parking brake cable since it snapped on me a few weeks ago.

JEFF'S THE MAN!

So not only did we get the exhaust chopped but also installed an IFS Truss that Jeff was willing to part with! Didn't fit his rig anymore (lift=Diff. drop) so offered it to me and BOOM got it on. Jeff as usual your a huge help and a good friend thanks for everything man.

Was at Ace Hardware with the gf and her dad the other day and made a boo boo! I was backing out of my spot (I swear I always look! I love my truck too much to be a bad driver!) when all of a sudden I hear...CRUNCH "WHOA WHOA WHOA!"....the lady next to me in a freakin tiny little Geo had her door open (and apparently hella close to my truck) and my rear passenger side tire caught the door and made it hit my fender. After looking at the damage for literally 1.4 seconds the lady said don't worry about it so I took off before she changed her mind!!lol I know it was my fault for not seeing her (witch I can't belive) but did she really need to have her stupid door open that close to my truck?.....Well any way I'm sure she tried to close her door after I left and realized the damage was more then she thought buuuuuttt she told me it was okay so TOO LATE! So in all, it sucks I crunched my fender a little bit but at least she was cool about it. Plus the damage is in an already quite ugly spot. I bent the dent out a little so it looks better now then when it happen.

Check out the HIDEOUS idler arm!! Got it from stupid Napa Auto Parts like 4 months ago and it already took a crap! It's all rusted, rubber boot torn to shreds, rattles on bumps and only one zurk fitting to grease it. Never going back to Napa.

Also got some goodies that I will post later tonight

Sweeeet! I need to chop my exhaust and remove my rear bumper now My tailpipe is just slightly higher than where yours was. I've hit it a few times off-roading. Never collapsed it though.

You look retardedly happy with that truss in

DANG! Sucks! I hear ya on the 'door open' thing. One time, recently, I came out and this lady had parked so cockeyed that I couldn't even get out.... Not only that, but when I walked up, she had left it in neutral and her passenger door open... it rolled back and the door was resting on my door jam behind the door......WTH? LOL..... She finally came out and, I kid you not, the first thing out of her mouth was, "Who moved my car? Who went inside it? Did you move it?".... To which I explained, calmly as possible, ...."NO, ma'am, ... you left your door open and the parking brake OFF! It rolled back into mine, but there's no damage, so I left it there because I didn't wanna get inside of someone elses vehicle, door open or not!... You really need to be more careful....If my truck was not here, you could have rolled back and killed someone!" ..... By then she was shaking and felt really bad... So I calmed her down, but maintained, "Ma'am, seriously... if you've got some really heavy stuff going on in your life, you might want to abstain from driving for a while until you get it all resolved."... She took a deep breath, apologized and then drove off VERY SLOWLY! lol.

Another time, a lady backed over me, knocking me down... I hit her trunk with my hand, HARD, and told her, STOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! She went forward, then right out the other spot where there was no car in front of her, ... someone had to LITERALLY STAND IN FRONT OF HER to stop her. She screamed at him, he screamed back, "YOU HIT SOMEONE!".... NO KIDDING, again, ..>>>> She got out of the car, looked back, then said, "You idiooot, you walk behind me too close, FUUUUU*&"...THEN GOT IN AND TRIED TO DRIVE OFF! She was so belligerent that the Cops arrested her! hahaha.

Butttttttttttt, ... you know what they taught me in 18 years of Hap Ki Do?????? "PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES!" hahahaa... I guess that applies to being fully aware of what's around ya,,..but IT HAPPENS, ROCKER! Sorry to hear, man..... You gonna fix'her up?

PS> My moog Idler has taken a beating from hell on the washboard in the Sierras, etc., and it's still in great shape. I think that one of the stores is having a sale on them?

We installed a moog idler arm on this truck and literally lasted a couple of days. Were going to see if Napa will warranty it.

I would definitely try to 'warranty' claim things out, no doubt.... But maybe MOOG and others have lost quality for all I know, ...ya know? Could you guys maybe do the 4Crawler Bronze Idler Bushing Mod on it as well? Maybe if you can find an Idler Arm Brace like Downey used to sell? I know there's a guy that has TONS of them, he bough them up from Jim of downey after they closed... but HE DOESN'T CALL PPL BACK FOR LIKE 4 MONTHS, lol..... Gotta be someone else who makes em NOT TOO expensive, ya know?(You know, so you don't have to buy a Marlin Crawler 300$ one? lol).

I know it depends on how rough people are on things(not sayin he is, lol)..... But honestly, I've put this thing through 100K at least of abuse, ...(Used to drive down nasty washboard for 20 miles in Mono County...Mammoth... like 65MPH and in some nice long J-slide outs round turns... Then tons of time in the Sequoias and Sierras, like Wheeling deep in at Upper Peppermint, lots of back and forth, and of course, there's 80K of L.A. Driving in there as well.....Trust me, it's often worse than the off road trips I meet people on! hahaha... and not a problem with the Moog, not even one. I only mention that because I'VE HEARD THAT, recently, from many people.... about Moog, I mean.

Yeah when Napa said they had a moog idler arm for this rig I mentioned to Roni (Assyrianrocker) that's the one we should probably get. I've heard nothing but good things about Moog suspension products. It literally didn't even last a week before it started making all sorts of noises and the steering became sloppy again.
