PS> Maybe look at the one RBX has and see if you can just order the carrier from them? Might not want their bumper(not sure if you like that style)... but maybe they could talk you through how to mount it on a TG style one like the 4xI one? No idea if they have it separate, but I WOULD THINK SO... but also no idea how much it would be. However, they sell things in pieces... so you could put it together JUST like you need it to work. Just weld plates to the Tube bumper... then voila! lol.

Finally got tired of not having a working dome light so I switched the whole dome l8ight assembly with the one from the corolla....works great! Changed all the bulbs to LED from brightLEDS.com. I only replaced the lights that get used to see...I left the cluster and ac lights stock. For the rear cargo area I used a bigger led so worth the extra cash!

Before

After

The LED I used in the cargo area

Glove box

I also did the little light by the keyhole forgot to take a pic though.

Truck is nice and clean .... more pics later!

Hey Roni I like the lights...need to do that my self. As far a the bumper...hit me up when you're ready to pull the trigger. MikeS and I just did a simple roof rack for his 95. I'll edit this reply when I can get some pics up..give me a few minutes and I'll have em. He was simply stoked at the end result and looks better in person.

Okay...here's the pics as promised...it was all built in two days and it mounts directly to the factory roof rails with the cross bars removed.

This pic shows it during the fab process..

These are all the pics he took....hopefully we can get more after he paints it. We put light 2 light tabs front and rear and expanded steel for a base. All made out of 1 1/4" HREW tube.

Thanks Ted. The lights are a huge improvement. I'm liking the idea of getting a tire carrier welded to the 4xI bumper. I love that bumper. Let's see the rack!

Updated previous post with the pics MikeS was able to send to me. I do like how lowprofile it turned out. It has 9 mounts per side and came out really secure to the roof...more than I thought it would. Hope you enjoy em Roni and maybe it'll inspire you for another project or idea??

Wow, GREAT job on the fab-art, Snow! MORE PICS of the mounting, etc. Very nice having it close like that... Mine will be the same, bout 1/2" or less in the center. Also, with the t-rail on the side rails I got going all the way, front to back... I'll be able to slide my Con-Ferr back til it's still in on the last tabs, then use it as a canopy back there for some sweet tailgating! hahaha.(will have quick disconnects on the lights in the front of the Con-Ferr, too, that way I can just pop em free, loosen the side rail mounting nutserts and leave the lights ON/inside the front rectangles of the Con-Ferr.

Sorry, I got excited looking at the pics, Roni, Snow... my bad! TANGENT OVER! hahhaha.

"Rubber Sealant"

Today I used some rubberized sealant on a couple holes that where made during tire fitment in the front wheel wells. I noticed the carpet was wet after car wash so hopefully this stuff works. Tomorrow I will use some "bondo" in the big hole and cover it all up herculiner. Eventually new fender well liners...eventually.......

PICS

Umbrella

A couple weeks ago I found a huge umbrella while walking around a dog park. There was no one there to claim it so finders keepers! I could always use some shade at the lake! Only problem was the umbrella had no base to hold it to the ground. Took it home and made a portable base for it using a huge umbrella base my uncle was throwing away.

PICS

Lake Pleasant

Had to try out the new umbrella so decided to head out to Lake Pleasant for the rest of the day. Found a peninsula to back the truck up near the water it was sweet! The way in is a steep rutted hill..nothing too crazy. 2 Ford f150s both tried going up but with open diffs. they both failed. When we left I just had to try it. Made it up first try. I love my Aussie! haha everyones face was "total shock" I couldnt help but laugh a little. Picked up at least one full bag of garbage as usual.

PICS

The umbrella was a real PITA due to wind. It was our first time using it so we fussed with it for a while till I thought of using the tire as a weight instead of rocks.

The dead fish in the water was kinda gross...

Home safe with our garbage.

Suffered some minor damage that I didn't find till I got home! I'm going back tomorrow to retrieve the missing plastic cover. Look at all that rust I didn't know I had!

Regardless of minor damage she is unpacked and ready for work in the morning!
