So here is the stance of my runner with no weight in the back, against a stock one on 32"s.

Hey Mike

Getting ready to possibly pull the trigger on a donor truck for a 3.4 swap and its the same 3.4/auto/2x4 setup you started with.

You ever figure out the wiring the make it work with your 5speed with throwing codes.

Been reading a little about "fooling" the transmission connectors into thinking the truck in is neutral and hitting shift point with resistors.

Okay mine came out of a 99 tacoma, it was an auto but 4wd..

All i did was connect the wires for the neutral/park saftey switch.
I believe it was something like 13d and 14d. Youll see what im talking about when you dive into it..

I never hooked up my transmission wires, so i don't have 4wd lights in the dash, or reverse lights, but because of that (or so i think) i haven't had any CEL's yet...

The body is good, frame has no rust, 347000 km's. the guy says he had a bunch of new seals done on the engine and the brakes are great. i checked the cv boots and they werent ripped, rear window works, it passes aircare great. he is asking 3000 obo so he might be able to get her for 2500. Its on craigslist in vancouver key word "1991 toyota 4 runner, black V6 standard" for 3000. check it out. i cant wait for him to get it so we can go wheeling

The 3.4L is pimp.. i can pull those 4d's in 5th gear up certain hills at 45mph still.... A little slower but not bad..

Unfortunately, im back on my 35's for now.. :kicksdirt: but on the good side, i squeezed 20mpg out of the last tank of gas. Not a whole tank, but its pretty impressive for running 35's.. Yup yup

looks good on 40"s. if you got like another inch of lift and cut the fenders it would look so sick.

Bumper is already on it man.. has been for some time now.

Its not that bad of a bumper.. the stinger takes some time to get used to, but its not too bad. I want to build my own bumpers anyways so when the time comes where i have access to a bender/metal ill make some!
