when i bought mine it was for $300.. completely stock, been sitting out back of some dude's house for years..

If i were to do it again.. save up the money and buy one aready built..

gears, locker, longs, etc...

I have all those now, just need arp studs and hydro assist and the front will pretty much be done.

Id rather run a full locker than a limited slip.. That is just my opinion though.
But it would be better than open.

(im rolling on an open 4.10 rear right now because i need to buy some more 5.29's and no funds at the moment) So no 4wd until i get some money..

yeah true a locker is much better but doesnt that lack of turn ablity get annoying? lol. noe being able to unlock the diff can get annoying but i have never had a locker so i wouldnt know how bad it really is.

god mike you burn through gears like crazy lmao.

im thinking dirty 30's for my axle, lifetime warranty, and TG has run them in there rigs with no problems so... seem alright since i got a guntless 22re, and dont beat the crap out out of my yota lol

Turning sucks with a locker in the front, its not too bad but i don't know how much it has to do with the locker since i run big tires. However the slight problems with turning is isn't really that big of an issue to me and i would not sacrafice the performance benefits of having a locker due to the slight turning issues.

so far it has been 4 5.29 diffs ive destroyed.

1st one- Zuk set it up, lockright broke and when i pulled the diff tooth missing off ring gear

2nd one- Bought a welded 4cyl 5.29 diff and i broke the whole carrier in half

3rd one- bought another welded 4cyl 5.29 diff and whoever set it up didn't locktight the ring gear bolts in and three of em backed out and went through the gears and destroyed them

4th one- was in my front diff, and pulled it to instally my arb and there was a tooth missing off the ring gear. I don't understand how this one happened because honestly i have taken it easy in 4wd for the most part since i always had stock birfs and didn't want to break them, so i didn't abuse the front end.

i don't like trail gear and quite frankly id rather save up another extra hundred and buy longs.. I got lucky and got longfield 30 splines and hub gears from a buddy for cheap.

good point mike, maybe i shouls just put lockrights front and back and just fight it.

lmao thats a joke dude so many diffs holy tt. maybe get a v6 3rd, high pinion, 5.29's, and a super strong detroit locker, then try and break that lol

I bet i could still break it..

A detorit would be nice in the rear.. but i will probably go spooled, open, or another arb..

lol yeah u will break it somehow haha only reason i mentioned detroit is that its a whole new carrier and there super hard to break lol. guess thats what you get when you have a 3.4 and 40''s hey

you mean 3.4L, 40's, and a heavy right foot.. lol

I just think the issue is that all of them, except the first one, were most likely set up wrong.
