Sold my iroks/beadlocks.
Saving up for a daily driver.

Just been busy with work, school, and work. lol Was working two jobs. One at a shop and the other at the college. Been busy as hell. Not to mention its finals week.. Im working on the last final i have as i type this. And then i will be done with school for the time being, and just working at the shop.With that said Ihaven't had time to buy anything for the truck.

I need to get a new arb compressor, duals and some other random .

But im over the 4runner. Im saving all my money to buy a different daily driver. And then once i get one imma just wheel the crap outta this, and then pull the axles out and throw them under a different rig and probably sell everything else.

Been trying to sell the runner or trade for a truck, but nobody wants it because of the cailfornia smog issues.

Long time not hearing from you man! Hows life treating you in the air force these days?

Yea i know man. A part of me doesn't want to get rid of it, but i know i could build a much more badass truck these days. I have soo much more expierence fabbing stuff. I take this as a "learning" truck. Hell im only 19.. I bought this when i was 16 COMPLETELY stock and have done everything to it myself. Except drivelines and diffs.

Well ive setup diffs before, and i work at a driveline shop up here so i can basically do EVERYTHING on the next truck.

I just want to get a pickup. Less weight, and i could actually haul things.
My main issue is the smog, plus it is not a reliable daily driver. I don't think any modified rig is good for commuting everyday. I honestly don't want to put in any more work into the 3.4L swap to make it pass the referee up here.

Whats killing me is.. I HAVE money at the moment. I could put duals in this in a week or so. But im saving to buy a different rig. Having ONE daily driver/wheeler is hard to do. especially when your driving 40 minutes to work everyday.

So I went camping Friday night and attempted some stupid boulders and ended up snapping a motor mount on my passenger side and cracked my frame a bit. I think from my tie rod end hitting my drag link so bad. So I ended up platting my frame and moving my box forward. Along with replacing my motor mount and chaining em down..

Wow. I haven't Been on here in a long time.

I ended up destroying my side gears after I welded my diff so I pulled them out an am running open. Loving it on the road. Maybe another arb for the rear if that time comes. Other than that ended up getting a brand new set of 37" toyos and they are awesome so far..

 

cool glad to see your still rocking the 4runner . man your rear diffs just get destroyed lmao i dont know what im going to go when i run a 3.4 and 35"s
