ya its a great place, but going 2x a year is plenty for me... i'm all about the mountains at heart
Ya i've already ordered them. that'l give me the adjustment from 1" to 3" more wheelbase. if i end up having to trim 2" out of the rear fenders, it won't be the end of the world
I was surprised at how much contact I was getting when I first swapped over to the AllPro lift, and I only moved the axel back 1"....those 3 hole spring perches saved me alot of headache! I'd totally recommend them, the added adjustability is worth it... with your skills you could easily build your own.

the axle is moved back 3" that's why i posted it, cuz i'm moving mine back 2" so it'l look similar when its all done. I know it looks a little goofy but having a longer wheelbase will be worth it to me

I thought that picture would generate a little more feedback oh well...
i added a couple more pictures of the moab trip (see previous page).
Today I made a trip to the car-guy's wallmart aka harbor freight and bought an angle finder and a few other goodies, so i can resume work on my rear axle tonight. i'm hoping to get it all buttoned up this weak cuz I've got a camping trip planned for the 26th

got her back on her feet last night, i'll post pictures soon. bit off a little more than i wanted with that job, it took quite a while to cut off the spring pads and hangers. glad its done, i'll post up some pics tomorrow
I also picked up this:
15 gal. aux tank perfect fit for where the spare was. still gotta figure out how to mount it and run the lines, but i'm looking forward to having a longer range

Pic time.
Before:
removed everything
After:
I had the top 2 leaves on the "new" springs re-arched at a local springshop for 30$ and they have a lot more droop than the old ones...i'll be using the same 4 leaves on the bottom as before so hopefully the ride hight won't change much. i'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. I've got the driveshaft in the shop at the moment, but it should be done by the end of the week and ready to roll for this weekend
