Thanks man. It was Blast!
That's exactly what I was thinking! The ones who show up and do the work are excited about it, and also realize how big of a deal it is.

Update 3-26-15
Still trying to get odds and ends done on this thing. Since we swapped the Harness, We had to put a different alternator and intake from the 88 2wd pickup.
The alternator bracket and mounting is different from the 81 to the 88. So we had to take the drivers side motor mount off to swap out the alternator bracket.

Since I sold the 2wd, and did not realize that the brackets were different, I had to rob the bracket off a spare block I had in the garage.

Newer style bracket.

Newer style alternator on the Left (which we are using), Older style on the Right.

Its in.

Now we are getting ready, weld in the shock towers so I can order shocks all around.
Ordering the Drop steering arm today over my lunch break, and hopefully the shocks tomorrow.
We also decided to go with a factory seat instead of the Sparco seats. They sat so high in the cab that a 5'4" guy would rub his head on the ceiling.
So I am planning on going to the Local U-Pull it to get some factory buckets out of something.

If you are using an 84 or older harness, there is a black box that has something to do with the alternator. I can not think of the name of the black box at this time. It is what sets the 84 harness different from the 85 and up. I think that is one of the reasons they changed the alternators. Looking good and getting closer.

We stripped the entire harness out and replaced everything with wiring from an 88 pickup.
Thanks for the compliments.
