1.5" spacers, I probably could have gotten by with 1.0 -1.25" spacers though

Thanks.
I am just running them up front for now, no noticeable differance with driving with the two different track widths. I am debating about an IFS rear end a buddy has cheap so that is one reason. If I stick with the narrow 1st gen rear end I will order another set of spacers to match.

Yes, but heads up if you are looking for rear ends, 79-85 rear ends are all the same width 55" wide. wasn't sure if you referring to the front end or rear...
you want an '86-95 rear end 58" wide

Congrats on the 4.7's. I still need to get my dual cases(rear is 4.7) over to someone that can spot trouble better than I can. I have had them apart but everything looks fine...

I remember something about having to notch the housing slightly. there is a few threads on YT about it but here is one from pirate I had saved:
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...ferrerid=89727

there is some slight issues about clearing the front springs too.

I would love to go selectable some day

thanks. yea i know bout notching the housing. might have access to a plasma cutter so it be fun lol. also need to drill and tap two holes for studs. i know a local guy did a elocker up front on his 85 sas. i wanna say he had like an inch blocks so that would make the elocker clear with no issues

not sure on the part number, I will see if I still have the box at home...but looking at the webside it looks like 300-556 is the only one that would work...

keep in mind that you will more than likely need some spacers to clear the calipers up front...here is 4crawler's Centramatic install it looks like he used spacer with some slight clearancing of his caliper.

let me know how they work out for you if you get them. I am really happy with them...just can't drive the truck right now because I failed my emissions test throwing on a new cat and gonna check my vacuum lines etc, again

Ammo Can=cheap Tuffy Style security box.

Decided to make a 'Poor man's 'Tuffy' Security box.
-.50 cal ammo can (have a few laying around)
- 1" alum angle
- 3/4" barrel key assembly ($8.50 on eBay)
-about 15-20 min.

Decided to this route as the old eye bolt and padlock just makes for one more rattle.
I will make a padded cover for the lid later..

Just curious, but is the angle iron riveted or bolted? And if it's bolted, are there lock nuts and/or washers...
I'd be afraid of someone not busting the lock but unbolting the angle iron...
