Well haven't done much lately, been really busy. Got the drivers side floor pan cut out and just ordered a new OEM bumper, end caps, and valance. I got the passenger side mount in the mail last week but I'm still trying to find a driver's side one.

I stumbled across this today:
http://www.autobodypartsonline.com/c...00113443642.6c
Not sure how reliable this company is, but it may solve your bumper bracket woes.

Looks close to me. I sent them an email and asked if it was in stock.

Better look into it, most of the time these places have no clue what they are carrying. My work computer crashed and IT is working on recovering my hard drives. Hopefully they can save them because I have a boat load of Toyota info on that computer that I don't want to lose - I know there is a retailer on there that had those brackets back when I was thinking about going to a stock bumper.

Hardly anything has happened with the truck in a while. Still have a lot of work to do on my floor pans. Kinda lost motivation since I can't find the bumper mount I need. I'm hoping to take off a few days next month to finish the floor pans.

Worked on the truck a little today. Scraped all the old insulation off the new driver side floor pan so I can grind it clean and paint it and then pulled the body mount bolt out. Took my fenders off too so I can put some white primer on them.

Was looking around on ebay and found some parts I ordered. I found a set of brand new turn signal lamp covers for $30. I can replace my old fogged up ones now. Also ordered a set of front marker lights for $40. When I took my fenders off yesterday I barely touched the plug/light assembly on mine and it crumbled to pieces. I don't believe they have ever worked since I have the had the truck. Same thing with the markers on the truck bed.

Thinking about rebuilding my carb before I look about buying a weber. Mostly just for fun and to see if I can do it but does anyone have an opinion if I should buy the rebuild kit from Napa or the one from LCE? I have read good reviews on the one from Napa but not much from LCE.

Well I finished my floor pans today and sealed them. I tried to tac weld the new section on but I never could get it to work right. So I had some self tapping screws and screwed them in. Redneck?, Yes but it seems sturdy. Tonight I will see about ordering a carpet kit, gotta dig out my carpet samples they sent me and find the one I wanted. Also yesterday I ordered a carb rebuild kit and and new vacuum advance from LCE. Hopefully these can help boost my 9 mpg to maybe 15 or so and give me a little more power. And If I just royally screw up rebuilding my carb I will order a Weber.

Today has been very exciting, aside from cutting my finger on my fender. Ouch. Anyways I have to give a big shout out to Lons81 for helping me find the driver side bumper bracket mount. Got it in yesterday and installed my factory bumper today! I love how it looks. Also shot my fenders with some white primer and put on my side marker lights. Here is a couple of shots:

Also got in my carpet kit and headline kit from Stock Interiors. I have the carpet laid out in the cab and I'm going to try and install it tomorrow and do the headliner later.
My order from LCE also came in, I got around 5 packages this week. I put on my new vacuum advance and started the truck at noticed the fuel pump is leaking so tomorrow I'm going to see about pulling it off and putting some new RTV on it. Haven't looked at the carb rebuild kit yet.

I just put new RTV on the fuel pump and when I was taking it off I noticed the middle port (the return to the tank I believe) was kinked because the piece of hose was too long. I cut off almost an inch and put it back on and seems ok now. With that kinked would that have affected how the engine ran?

I have raked my memory to try to remember what my original center console looked like, and there it is. Lol.
When I had my seats redone in the 80s, I took that out, made the seats a little smaller and put in a wider console with drink holders.
Cool to see that original console again. Used to keep my junk in there.
