I cut the brackets in half took 3 inches out and rewelded it. For the front I made a new bracket to go on top of the crossmember instead of under it.

Here are the pics of the motor mounts and steering. The motor mount is the stock control arm mount off of the rear.

Im in Georgia. I finally got a tracking number from high angle for the driveshaft, it should be here tomorrow. All of the exhaust (high flow cats 2.5" tube, flowmaster 40) should be here this afternoon. I havent heard anything from sky when the remainder of my steering will be here but it should be today or tomorrow. It will problably be christams before I can get a video but I will post links as soon as possible.

What dd you do for gages and other engine control like Cruse control and such.
I am about to (tomorrow) yank the 3.0 out of my 95 runner and put in a ford 5.0. I pulled the ECU and harness today and am not sure what won't work now Can't wait to see your rig run, really nice swap.

I havent finished the gauges yet. For the temp and il pressure I plan to adapt the toyotta senders onto this motor. the amp gauge works fine so I wont have a problem with it. For the tach and speedo im going to use converters from dakota digital to send the gauges the signal that they require. Im also going to need a pulse generator for the transmission since it has a cable driven speedo instead of the electronic one like the toy has.

THE YOTA ISS ALIVE!!! So I finally got to drive it about half a mile today. There are a few bugs I need to work out but I was expecting that. The tires are rubbing when you turn on a hill. I need to change out the mastercylinder for a chevy one. The brakes work but I dont feel safe driving it on the road like that. And it doesnt really like to go in a straight line. With the soft springs no shocks and no steering stabilizer that can be expected.

I got the exhaust made today. I still need to pull it back off to finish welding it but it turned out pretty good.

ill try to get the video tomorrow. No I dont have any of the abs or the parking brake ( 1 ton cv didnt clear the brake cables). On the powersteering lines i cut the chevy line right after it came out of the pump and cut the toyota line where it would go into the pump. Both lines are 3/8's so i used a compression fitting and union to connect the two. so far it is working fine. I also added another leaf from a set of wagoneer springs to the front springs today to level it out some. It may be a little stiff but i havent flexed it to see.
