I got the engine mounts fully welded in, the engine in and the transmissino mounted today. Tomorrow I am going to work on shifters and a crossmember for the transmission.

Here is the best picture of the fan I could get:

and two pictures of the raised gas tank:

With the 31's on it has 24" of clearance under the tank, so with the 38's I should have around 28"s.

The wireing is complete. I plan on putting the starter on and hooking up the fuel lines tomorrow. If all goes as planned it should be running by monday.

Im making progress, just very slowly. I got the heater hoses and the lower radiator hose done today. Why do the make stainless steel radiator hoses in every colr but black? I am the only one that wants a black radiator hose? The upper hose, gas pedal, tac modulem and some other stuff will be here this week. After that is all done I will have the steering, brakes, and driveshafts to finish. Here are the latest under hood pics (yes I know the hoses are ugly and I still have a mess to straighten out):

I havent gotten much done lately. I have the rear brakes connected, the air intake hooded up, radiator hoses connected, and most of the steering parts on the way. I ordered the front brake lines from front range offroad they sent the wrong size and wont make it right so I have to find the fittings I need some where else. For anyone else using a dana 44 I would not recommend using front range's products. You can get the same parts at jegs or summit for less than half the price. I was expecting lines that where special made for this application, not lies with several adapters screwed together to make them fit. Oh well engough ranting for one day, but I will not be using front range for anything else.

Received the materail for the tie rod and draglink today. 1.5" .250 wall dom might be a little overkill but atleast it will be strong.

Not much to update. It seems like this truck is going to take forever. I have finsihed the front shock mounts. The driveshafts should be here this week. I have a master cylinder adater, rear shock mount and the last few pieces I need for the steering orderd from sky. Maybe by the end of next week I will be able to test drive it. Im going to have to hurry to be done by my deadline of Christmas eve.

you can do it with out the body lift. You may have to use a ls1 intake to clear the hood but im sure it can be done.
