i bet making the initial 'oh-my-god-i-am-about-to-cut-a-huge-hole-in-my-roof-and-there-is-no-going-back' cut in the roof was a bit unnerving. HMMM my bro has a disco with two sunroofs, he only really needs one...

Did you use the Lexus instrument cluster because you like the way it looks or was there another reason like making the electronics work easier?

Hey, is mine done yet? hehehehe. Jk, ...but seriously, ... I love reading back through this thread once in a while! lol.

Nice job on the light-mod for the shifter assembly. When I do mine, I really wanna go stick, so that wouldn't be an issue for me, right? HOWEVERRRRRRR, lol... if I FIND a good deal on an Auto-attached to-SC/LS motor... YEAH, might just enjoy the effortless experience again. The Bosses CRV is auto... and I don't really 'enjoy' it more, ya know? It's ok in L.A. not having to shift, don't get me wrong, lol. But,...I guess I'm SO ENGRAINED with the 5spd motions, lol.

LOVE THIS RIG, MISTA! lol.

I know this is a "nerco-post" considering this thread's last post was in November of '11 BUT....
Is there anymore info floating around on
A: That badass who did the lion share of the work, "RMA"
B: The status of the 4Runner this thread is about OR it's owner.

After acquiring a 1st GEN and wanting to punt the 22RE (not a bad motor), just want something more robust and it's either this demon swap or a diesel.

He hasn't been on in a long time. He did write ups on three swaps I think and they all were pretty thorough with info and pics.
