my buddy is running the TG 3 hd springs on a 92' runner with sbc 1 tons and 42's. Lots of trimming was done but it sits really low. When he was building it he bought 5inch TG's and it sat way to damn high, so he swapped them for 3's but we all know tg's bend and go flat under any weight so he went to HD's which still haven't settled giving it a cali lean.

before the roll over and new leafs

after, the HD's still haven't settled down

Here's my '86 long bed! I'm sporting a D44 with Ford outers with Ford disc brakes, read Ford 9 with Chevy parts and Ford rotors for rear disc brakes, and rear Chevy 63's. It's all Chromolly axles with Detroits and 5.29 gears on 37's with 17in Dodge Ram wheels. So I'm a Yota with Ford, Chevy, and Dodge stuff lol.

First pic on 39's

Thanks guys! I wouldn't say it's "perfect" by any means but it suits my needs pretty good. It's daily driven between 200 and 350 miles a week and does pretty good off road too.

I had around $1200 in the case/gears/installation.

I had to put a different yoke/flange on the driveshaft because of the flange that came on my case (it was a bastard case from what I heard) but my stock joints were shot and loose at the end caps.

I really like that setup.. How does it handle on the road as a daily driver? As in making corners and driving somewhat fast. Awesome looking rig.

Did a bit more than a SAS. Started out as a 2WD truck.

Used TG 3" front springs and some old Pro-Comp 4" springs in the rear. Also has the 6" shackles from Wab-Fab.

I'm running 35" Goodyear MTR's old style.

No action shots yet, maybe never. This thing will be a pavement princess for the most part.

I don't follow? I should have converted it to IFS 4x4? Yeah I needed a front driveline to make it work.

Um my definition of a pavement princess involves trips to the beach and camping that sometimes requires 4WD. But most of the time this truck will be on pavement.
