No trailer, I am coming solo (no wife and kid) so I don't need it, sorry.

We have CLOSED our sign up page for the run. We ended up with 105 trucks signed up. I don't see all of them going, but if they do, it will be very interesting to say the least.
Camping will also be an issue. We had about 40 trucks last time and it was tight. As people come in on Friday/Saturday morning, we will be asking you to camp close, but not too close. We have had the Rangers email us so they know we are coming.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR ADVENTURE PASSES WHEN YOU COME INTO CAMP! I know you all are meeting at the center, and I think it opens at 8. BUY THEM!!!!
We really need your guys' help in keeping it good. Drive, and camp smart. Dinner starts at 4pm, so see you all there!!!

on everyone that missed the meet and greet tonight. It seemed like everyone had a great time. We should do another one in a couple months.Brad - I'm happy for you (and your hand[s]) that you called Eric before taking that nut off

It looks like we're going to be expecting a LARGE gathering. Since we'll be doing our own thing, I am suggesting that we camp together at a remote campsite separate from the general area. This will help minimize the chaos in locating eachother when we depart for our Saturday run. We can all still crash the dinner as Jason will be grillin some mean grub
Since this is a last minute change, I am suggesting we quickly decide on what we want to do. There are many free sites that are in the remote areas of BB. The only difficulty would be locating eachother in the remote areas. It is possible but it can become difficult (maybe).
The other option is to secure a campsite but I can't find any sites available.
Since the rangers know we're coming they'll be out on full force enforcing the rules so we'll want to make sure we're legit on the camping arrangements.
Thanks!

The TTORA guys are using colored ribbons on their antennas to help keep things organized and disinguish trucks by easy/med/hard runs.
Maybe we could do the same, or have one ribbon color to identify the YT group...

charles, we'll be gathering at the discovery center at 8am which is earlier than ttora's gathering which is at 9am at the campsite. having a separate gathering location and time will greatly help to separate the two groups. remember this is only for saturday as on sunday we'll regroup and merge w/ everyone else.

Have any of you guys run John Bull in recent times? From what I have read, it is apparently easier than in the past due to some work that has been performed on it.
I wonder how it now compares to Holcomb in degree of difficulty.
Anyone with any recent experience of the trails, could you rank in order of most to least difficult, Holcomb, John Bull and Dishpan for me?
I want to do Gold with you guys but I see you are not planning on doing Holcomb (which I was hoping to do) and I am not sure what the schedule (time) TTORA is doing Holcomb.
I'd also be willing to do John Bull if the first part of the rock garden has been modified so I can get in. Last time we were up there, Lance, Bruce and Charles did a great job climbing over the rock garden but I couldn't see how I'd ever get my tupperware from and rear ends over the rocks. My steel bullbar from Shrockworks arrives in about a week. Just my luck!
Thanks for any imput.

Arrastre Flat is just East of Holcomb Valley and 3N32. This may be enough room for all the Yota Tech boys. Burnt Flat, which is at the north terminus of 3N02, also may work due to it's location. Many options out there. CHeck your topos and let's come up with a good spot we can all get to.

What color are the adventure passes? I have one, but there is no date on it and I'm not sure if it is too old.
If you want to get another camping spot, it should probably be near the TTORA one since they put up good signs to get to the right area. Maybe we could be a little further down the road?

Guys I looked into Serrano which I heard was close to the TTORA camp but it is all filled up already w/ people who have reservations. I am not sure what other camp site there is that is close to TTORA camp. If anyone who is familiar w/ the area wants to research some more you can use the following link: click here
Hope that helps.

group sites or family sites require 72 hour reservation per Discovery Center (I just called). This means we can not occupy any of these sites. There are free sites (yellow) that we can find but they're limited in how many we can fit.
I was told we can camp in the wilderness so long as it's not near a meadow or main road. This means we have to be inland enough to rough it.
I looked up Andy's recommendation on Arrastre Flats and it looks like a spot where we can crash: GPS coords 34.303ºN 116.864ºW

What do you all think?
