sorry i been kind of an absentee here the last few weeks. been trying to get all of our family camping gear together for extended weekends with the wife and kid. Bought a new family 4 season tent, new outhouse, cooking gear and stuff like that. also got a little creative with a sun/ rain shelter. We leave for stoney ford (east park reservoir) on sunday for 3 or 4 days. This time of year the elk are in the valley as well as other 4 legged creatures to watch and photograph.
With the exception of a rack and tire carrier, I am about set for 7 day + trips. Still needing a flipping welder but I am making due for now.

Looks like this trip is going to be a lot of fun. looking forward to seeing everyone. still unsure if my wife is going to make it but if not that just means less to carry (she likes her comfort). Fairy aren't some of us camping the night of the 11th as well? making it a friday night and saturday night.

I got jacked. I forgot to write up the weekend on the calendar and the wifey obligated us for a freaking wedding. So, now I'm officially out.

Is there still a pre-run and will the pre-run be a day trip? Damn it...I still want to go!

I'm just starting out in this stuff. Actually planning something would be biting off more than I can chew. I'll keep my eyes posted for something that I can make. Take plenty of pictures and I'll attend vicariously.

New Rear Leafs And Shock On The Way

Bit the bullet and ordered the springs for the rear. Had some copper wire and some brass that I was saving from work and cashed it in at the scrap yard. Should be nice killing off the sag. I just couldn't do the add a leafs. I think it's a decent price. Shipping hurt a bit though.

sweet, i think you'll be really happy with them. might want to measure your current u-bolts - dunno if the stockers will be long enough as the OME leaf pack is thicker due to another leaf in there. you might be ok though, just check to make sure you've got an extra 1/2-3/4" of threads on your current ones.

no front shocks? start saving up some more metal and get the OME front shocks, OME Steering Stabilizer and BJ spacers to complete your new suspension.

Working on it. I could barely get just the rear parts.

I hit up Yosemite a few weeks ago and got dumped on with snow. 4runner is in the back there.

The sunny picture is from a while back. My best tarp hut tie down. Nothing works better than the triangle method. Kinda hard to see in the picture though.

Working on honing my photo ability. Got some pretty good shots in yosemite I think.

Backorder

Just got a bad news email...

We were just informed by ARB that they are currently out of stock on these parts... They will enter the order and ship as soon as they arrive into thier inventory. ETA for this order to be complete will be around 05.14.10

Hopefully they make it in time for the trip.

^order it from somewhere else that has what you need in stock. call around to make sure and see if they'll price match you. i ordered all my stuff from trdparts4u and from what i remember, they had some of the best prices and shipping was not bad either.

Try Four Wheel Parts Wholesalers. When I bought all of my OME stuff they had it in their warehouse and even though I had to pay sales tax, the total came out cheaper than shipping it from other places. Four Wheel Parts covers the shipping to their store.

Chris that first image is pretty good. a night shot like that can be tricky. yours is a little grainy but thats to be expected. that second image looks like where we had intended to camp at east park reservoir. It was getting a little crowded with the rodeo folks coming in so we drove back to elk creek and stoney gorge. will post up a few more images shortly. have to watermark and resize.
