Chris - The only way to legally transport a firearm through a state game refuge is to have the firearm taken apart or locked in a case with ammo seperate from the firearm.

Troy - yes it is the same as last year with 3 minor differences. 1 we are camping up there friday night about the same area we aired down last year. 2 once we complete the Peligreen itself we are going to camp at Black Rock on Mill Creek. Thats a right turn when you get to Ponderosa Way instead of a left. 3 Sunday morning we are going to continue south on Ponderosa Way and come out in Chico.
So just to be clear Saturday is for the rocks and Sunday is for the mud and terrain.

I am looking forward to it as well. If you guys want to meet at my place thats cool. I would not mind being up at camp around 3-4 but it more depends on what time you guys are able to get up here. I can leave when ever and the earlier the better in my book.

Just so everyone knows and will not get lost this 1/2 mile section of road is where we will be at. feel free to drive in any time friday afternoon or saturday morning. We will probbaly head out Saturday morning around 9:30-10

 

I probably won't get up there until around 9 PM on Friday. I am officially off at 4:30 though sometimes we are out by 2 or 3. So I will be up there friday night but a bit late depending on traffic and when I can get off. Do we have a CB channel that we should be on? I haven't thrown mine in yet but it should be good to go by then. John is your number the same? ......xxx xxx x893? Does cell signal work up there?

 

I think we used channel 4 last year so we can stay with that. I will leave my CB on until I go to bed so if anyone gets lost and is with-in signal we will get you. Cell signal is sketchy at best. Being on the lower end we might get it Friday. I know Saturday and Sunday we will be out of range. If the cell number you have starts with 530-2xx-x893 it is the same.

Fairy if you get here early enough we could go up the long way. straight up hogsback, all dirt and lots of bumpy.

 

i see, we are camping next to the pond lake thing we pasted last time we were out that way. looks good, should be easy to find. what is the soonest we could meet you at your place john?

 

Yeah we will probably be camped next to the lake if we can find enough shade.
As for when you can come up. As soon as your packed and on the road. Besides grocery shopping next Thursday I will be packed and ready. Is your brother still coming?

 

i wont be making it... they swapped my hours, so im off tomorrow and working saturday night to sunday morning... have fun guys...
