So far I think I'm the northern most member, arent most of the Norcal folks in the bay area or thereabouts? I'd be able to head down there.

I think you may be the northernmost guy. There's Scottiac in Davis, and some in the Sac area, then a handful on the peninsula/San Jose.
Maybe somewhere in the east bay, sort of in between for everyone?

Personally, I have no preference as to whether we do a trail ride or just meet up somewhere. I think there was a meet last year sometime at a park in Fremont that I unfortunately couldnt attend. Something like that would be cool, or even to meet up at a place like Dave & Busters or something and have some drinks and invade the parking lot with tacos, 4runners, etc. I would also suggest some place like Hollister Hills or even Frank Raines if we wanna do the offroad thing. Personally as long as its not a place where you absolutely NEED a locker or a lift im good with.
Theres my $.02

East bay is fine with me, sportedition's got a couple good ideas also
I'm not terribly familiar with anything down there anymore. I moved out of the bay area in '88 and (except for a year working in Alameda) havent really kept up on what's in the neighborhood.

Hey, how about San Ramon (east bay) ? There's a nice park here with BBQ's. Might have to reserve it though.
Livermore is wine country and I know a bunch of wineries. We could meet there and carvan to all the wineries.
Frank Raines is closed because a forest fire swept through there a little while ago. Nobody knows when it's going to re-open.

Any and all are cool with me. Scheduling may be tricky, but all locations are equally cool with me.
(But someday, I *do* want to try ouot Holister, dangit!)

Just kidding, that's not a bad idea at all.
That does suck about Frank Raines. As far as wheeling goes, I'd suggest Hollister, Strawberry, or Eagle Lakes.
We could also all meet up at Chabot Park, in the East bay, and go to the gun range...

Something the xterra guys do...they meet at In n Outs all around the bay, each month. So one month it'll be mountain view, then next month Fremont, etc...

Haha...Maybe I should change my screen name to Cooter... a little culture never hurt anyone!
A buddy of mine has an A4 and is on Audiworld all the time, I know they also do In-N-Out meets and stuff like that.

I guess I'm the northernmost member in Arcata, and I wouldn't mind driving down somewhere to actually go on a 4BY Camping trip, but not just to meet up at the burger joint. I have a friend with a '85 who would also be intrested. We would need as much notice as possible though, and the weekends of Sept 5-7 and 19-21 are taken up with music festivals. Maybe we could organize a run up here in Humboldt county or near by, all kinds of country out here, plenty of places for shooting, several wineries and micro breweries and art museums as well.

Hi new to the board , just sign up as a matter of fact , just picked up my first runner last month a blue 90 SR5 , funny thing is I picked it up for hauling stuff for work liked it so much sold it and bought a black 97 limited and I love it , found this board on a link somewhere can't remember , I think it might of been from JasonB's sight, very nice truck by the way, I am also in the Eastbay , would be down for meeting up and having some fun , Chabot range would be cool but they don't let you rapid fire , btw Dave and Busters is also cool , lets just get something going so I can meet some of you guys and see all the mods first hand.
