As long as you weld them up good you wont have any leaks there.
The next possibility for leaks is how you bolt them. With the 24 bolt rings possibility of leaks is higher than 36 bolts but then again we are talking minimal air loss as long as care is taken with bolting and welding.
Mine is not a daily driver. I wouldn't recommend beadlocks for a DD because of the added weight at the wheel and the possibility of having to add air more often than usual.
Crossing my fingers.
Yesterday's run...

Ran into a J**p jam we had to clear to continue on.

Typical self indulgent photo.

ahh man, can't you guys let me give him a hard time??? lol
Looking at the Images there appears to be a couple of cool places to play around going through there and even in june that glazier should still be there. I do hope there is a better place to camp than that spot they camped at. I would prefer to have my tent off the rocks lol. Very pretty area, I look forward to getting some pictures through all this.

I dont know how far it is, or how long it takes to get there. I will have the info. finalized on the pre run.
I also do not know how the fishing is there. Im sure the fishing is no different then any other alpine lake. I have only seen on pic of mud lake and have not been there my self yet. from the pic and the Satellite images it looks like a nice place.
ok got some distances for you all
start of trail to old trade post marker = 10.4 miles
start of trail to mud lake = 16.1 miles
start of trail to exit of trail = 15.7 miles

better check where the refuge starts and ends in that area first. I did not check my the distance of the refuge but I do know that one side of the ridge (east side i believe) is a refuge. The trail itself looks to skirt the outside of the refuge, but like many other trails it may weave itself in and out of the refuge.

And when ya get stuck.... I will pull ya out
