It looks like the 2nd week of June we will be going up. If everything goes smoothly. But it will be during the week. I will have more info as the time get closer.

i was doing some light reading on nor cal trails. you know the rubicon is actually the second toughest trail in norcal. fordyce creek is rated the toughest. and the highlakes believe it or not (because or morris lake trail) is rated 13th. and holister 16th. not to bad

i've been looking at those tires, too! money's tight and i can't decide if i want to get a lockright or some cheap mud tires. i'm thinking my michelins ATs would have a hell of a time keeping up on trails and don't really offer me much sidewall protection as well as a ridiculous treadlife that doesn't seem to be wearing down any time soon. i've been thinking a traction device would be just as(if not more) beneficial than aggressive tires. what y'all think?

i'm waiting on confirmation of supposed out of town visitors that may clash with my desire to go wheeling Memorial Day weekend. on a good note, i just bought a lock-right and await it's arrival. guess it's time to put in my bj spacers while i've got the toolbox out and maybe repack my bearings, too. as for the tires, i'm gonna rock the 31" michelin radial lt's with my 4.88s/lockright until i need new ones. nerf bars will have to act as sliders for now, too.

I am officially not going to make it. Insurance company said they denied the claim saying the loss was caused because I failed to yield to a car that smashed into the back side of my truck. I guess I gotta take it to small claims court to get any cash out of it. The truck is getting repaired now but won't be done in time. I'll have to look out for the next trip though. I'll have some battle damage though... Sadly not from 4x4ing.
