Not sure how the Colorado book rates them, but since this is the first time I have done most of the driving I would give it a moderate, there are some great technical areas that I enjoyed learning how to do. (only a few dents under the truck, nothing visible) scenery is excellent and lots of water crossings.

4x4Trails.net rates both as a 4. I would agree with that rating for Middle St. Vrain and give an extra point to Coney Flats. Yesterday, we ran into some rain so each would get an extra point for that as well. So a 5 and a 6 on Colorado's 10-point scale yesterday.

Yeah, sorry I didn't have any pics of you Dave. You were only a truck or 2 behind me so by the time I got through the obstacle, pulled up and parked and walked back with the camera you were through the obstacle.

Danke. Kinda anti-climatic though. Thought for sure I was flexed more than that.
