What's it worth to you guys? my 4runner

First off, mods...please dont move this...i'm looking for some quick replies..and i know that hardly no one visits the "feeler" part of the yotatech marketplace...

THINKING about selling my '92 4runner and getting my dream truck, 98-02 dodge diesel 4x4, sb, manual.

Rebuilt 3.0 bored .020.
Has 176,000 miles total, about 9000 on a FULL rebuild (with receipts.)
new clutch when rebuild was done.
has A/C.
electric fan with a NEW radiator with less than 1000miles on it.
285/75R16 Toyo M/T's with 75% tread left.
it's a 5speed.
manual hubs in front. (add system still there...just has manual hubs.)
aftermarket plate front bumper.
4.56 gears.
has a nice stereo system, one Type-R 12" sub, Dual 4ohm voice coil. one Insignia dual 4ohm voice coil sub. both in a single ported box. with a 1800W kenwood amp, wired up 1 ohm.
new pro-comp 9000 shocks.

Runs like a top, hasn't ever left me stranded.

just wondering what YOU guys think it's worth, (in your areas).

here i'm thinking about $4300-$4800.

***Mods if you HAVE to move this, then do so...i only posted here because the Off topic section gets more traffic.

But you bought a Ford and we still kept you as a mod!!!!

I couldn't see myself paying more then maybe $4k tops for it. I'd ditch the sound system in it and unload that separate. I know a few of us on here wheel with the larger systems and all but........

turns out i don't have any decent pics? i'll have to take some for you guys

i'm seeing completely stock ones with rebuilt motors going for $4000....figured i'd be able to squeeze a little more out of mine? especially if sold to the "right person"

will also have new cv's up front pretty soon.

and the bumper is getting some tube work done here pretty quick.

i LOVE this 4runner. but a TRUCK would suit my needs ALOT better..i had a guy that was willing to trade a SAS'd (marlin kit, done right. EXACTLY like i wanted.) '93 ext cab pickup for my 4runner plus $1500 cash.....but i needed something reliable to drive for work over the summer. and i was unsure of how reliable a SAS'd truck on 37's would be.

this was the real deal too, ARB front locker, aussie rear, longfields front and back, 37" MTR's (old style) Trail-gear front bumper, Marlin rear bumper, 9000lb winch in the front, and all work was done within the last 3000miles... tires were almost brand new. the body wasnt in the BEST of shape, but it was definitely do able... i litterally about flipped sH@# when he told me he'd trade..but i just couldn't do it..looking back now i should have just done it....i mean that's like a $6000 rig or better...i still see the rig around every now and then so he MIGHT still be willing to let it go...of course it's not been on craigslist for a while so he might have already traded.

and i want a dodge diesel because i plan to run propane on it, plus i LOVE the 98.5-02 dodge's...used to have one.

IF i do sell it, i will not be gone from the toyota world forever, i want to get a pickup and throw a V8 in it along with other goodies.

don't get me wrong though....even though i LOVE my 4runner....i would get rid of her in a HEARTBEAT to have another dodge.

anyone else want to voice their opinion?

whenever i get my tax returns i'm going to go out and get a Dodge diesel, likely this 2001 i've found, tastefully modded, nothing extreme, has almost 200,000 miles on it, but it's only $9500 plus it's in A+ shape. and has had some recent work done that should take care of any problems it would have had.

whenever i do that, i'm going to sit my 4runner somewhere, still keep it up for sale...but start fixing some stuff, i need front blinkers, the alarm system needs to be in working order again, need new front fenders or the dents knocked out of mine, need a new driverside door panel...just stupid little stuff..i really hate to get rid of it, but in order to run the size of tires i want to on my "toy" then i really need a pickup...(38's probably) i don't want to have to deal with moving my rear axle back and trimming the hell out of the 4runner, when i can just trash the pickup bed and build a tube rear-end on it.

$4000 will be my bottom dollar on it though.

I say list it at 4500 obo and see whay offers you get. I see it more possible to negotiate closer to your 4000 floor, say settling for 3700 after negotiating. Or just post it for 4k and let it sit.

It's amazing what a little motivation will do...If I was offering I would be around $3,000 to $2,800. It's the 3.0 that is the limiting factor, rebuilt or not.
