With all the new LED headlights out there now, some including turn signals, has anyone converted the front bumper signals to fog lights? Good idea, bad idea? I can find clear lensed ones and some super bright 1156 led bulbs that will fit. Thoughts?

If First-Gen MoreFunner, easy:
Retrofit front markers with turn signal like here. , or buy Hi-lux fron markers with provision for turn signals. SomedayJ got one.
OR install turn signals on grill like DRL's/Turns on newer tacoma's / 4Runners.

Bumper Now Has Location for Fog Lights

PIAA 2100 is not LED but I like it and dimensions would fit well.

 

Thanks for the feedback. Those are some good ideas. I'm trying to keep the truck a "stockish" look, just upgrading and modernizing some things.

- I can't agree more with your tag line at bottom. As a sparky, the multimeter rules when trouble shooting.
