1997 4runner bought it when it had 155,000 miles on it now it has 172,000. it was 2900 for a base 4x4 with a 5spd, and i think ive only put less than a grand into it for parts. sense free junkyard parts are awesome . and i saw a gold 2nd gen 4runner at a used car dealership today for 3 grand but it looked alot better then mine.

I bought mine for 2000. It is about to roll over 200,000 on truck but 30,000 on motor. It has 529s with spools front and rear. EFI converted to carb with brand new weber, hedman hedder and a flowmaster.

Guy I bought it from had already started it by cutting all the wiring for the EFI off. It will have propane before this year is up.

2001 Limited with 100k miles on the body and unverifiable mileage on a used JDM engine because the previous owners coolant return hose blew out and she continued to drive it until the engine burned up.

$8700

Nice, I like that. Is that in Jemez Mountains outside Albuquerque? I used to ride dirt bikes up there, there are miles of trails.

Yes it is! Wow nice memory for trails!! I've gone miles and miles back there over the last few years. Some really nice places to get lost.

That's no joke man. I live in Dallas TX and my family had a house in Albuquerque, so a few times a year I would haul my dirt bike up there and ride around. The trails are endless.

When my family sold the house in ABQ I sold my bike lol. Nothing in this area even begins to compare.

Sorry guys, I'll shut up about the trails. I just got excited when I saw mountains and New Mexico plates.

Oh heck camo I have no actual idea..... 40,000 or so? I'll be buying another set next month and plan on keeping an accurate record of how long they last.

Just purchased today. 91 2 door, 22RE with 5 speed, 331,000km. minor rust, runs but no compression in cyl's 3 and 4. $800 cdn.

Likely do a complete rebuild on the engine and be the end of the year before it sees the road again... and I need to sell my '04 Highlander before then.

Wanting some advice

So i was digging around looking for factory 4:88s to go on the pickup and I came across a complete 4RUNNER

The specs:
1995 SR5 4X4 Runner
174,xxx Miles
3.0 v6, Auto, 4:88s(G114)
Red/Maroon with tan interior
The body is almost perfect!! No dents/dings/scratches (except for 2 dings on the hood). Paint just needs a little waxing.
No rust anywhere, frame still has factory coating.
Dash has the usual crack but otherwise good, small tear on the seat
Recent front end work with new cvs, balljoints, & tre's
Tires are michelin 31x10.5 on alloy wheels with lots of tread left

The problem: a rod knock!!
Does fou hundr sound like a good price? What would be a good price?

This is time sensitive so post!!Please!! Otherwise it's going to the junk yard!!

Pics for reference: It looks exactly like this except maroon
