$3000 for my 85 4runner. I fixed a bare wire and it fixed the idle. Now it needs an exhaust and I should be good for a while.

Got mine for 2400. 1990 4wd stock with new tires, I put 500-600 in repairs so it is close to being worth 3500 now. Runs like a champ though 204000 miles

Picked up this one yesterday, 1988 4Runner, 129k miles. Interior, frame and most of body are solid, fenders are shot and gotta yank the engine for a knock, but I'll take it for $650!

Stoked to get it fixed up and cruise with the top off this summer!

Paid 1350 2 years ago -84 4runner Deluxe. Turned it into a rock crawler: total investment, almost 8k. Great truck, DD, gets 16-18 mpg. Everything on it is new or been replaced. 5.29's, 36" TSL's, 4.7's, upgraded to dual-diaphragm brake booster, Hi-Steer and '94 steering box. Looking to upgrade to a 3.4L engine and R151 with dual Xfer cases.

$6700 in 2011 for 2002 SR5 Sport Ed. Had 95K on it, and Timing Belt and Water Pump were changed on it at 91K by the dealer. Has sticker. Changed the tires and shocks/struts on it almost right away (stock) . No major work since. Changed brake rotors over a year ago, changed starter about 3 years ago. Now it's due to some body work and I'm thinking about lifting it just a little.

99 for $3900

Found it a a yota dealer while on a day trip. It was in the "not inspected for sale" row. They let me drive it 2.5 hrs home for 3900 bucks wit only 130k on it. Already had new 295 nitto's new bilstien struts with toytec lift spacers, leather crappy brakes and loud exhaust, bit no rust which is hard to fibd here in wi! Shes already getting to where she needs to be for backwater kayak fishing.

$450 For Both. Made two into one.

Bought the blue 89 SR5 for $300 not running and the white 88 DLX for $150. Replaced MAF, injectors, along with an overall tune up and got the blue one running good. Installed 6" shackles to level it, installed a new bumper, Tundra wheels with slightly used grips and just tinkered with it for about a year after that. The white one had no engine but a boatload of great parts in it. Used everything that was better than in the blue one, especially the interior parts, and salvaged every other left over part for spares. Probably have $2000 in the whole project.

Paid $15 for the title transfer fee for my '99 3.4 auto 2wd with 260k on it last September. Got it from my sister before she moved out of state and her and her husband didn't want to take it with them. I have put about a grand into it on various maintenance parts, and wheels and tires. Just paid for the new tags and it passed smog with no problems.

2002 sr5 4wd

I picked this one up from a lawyer who was liquidating an old man's estate for $4000. I have about $700 more in it now with the Tundra wheels, tires and a Rough Country 3" kit. 139,000 miles.

Paid $3200 for my 88 4runner v6, 4x4 automatic, with 193k miles. Unmodified and mechanically sound and about 99% rust free. I know the price was steep, but I spent about 6 months looking for exactly what I wanted and just couldn't pass it up. Will post pics

Pretty confident I found the root cause for the right front wheel seizing
When pulling the axle out I found this little gem

Nice find. Bought mine from my wife's cousin while the scrap yard truck was there to pick it up. Fixed it up nice for a couple hundred bucks and drove it to Thanksgiving dinner and now he thinks I ought to sell it back to him for $300. Makes me love it even more.
