'91 v6,SR5, 5sp. with 116,000 miles,bought 6 months ago for 1.3 million or US equivalent $6,500. Since then done ISR mod, canned the ADD for milemarker hubs and will rebuild engine next month.

 

$1500 foe a 92 4runner, added new muffler, tune up and tires.

 

89 runner, white, with 60% 31's pretty well bone stock. Passed emissions, rusted out fenders and tailgate though, and I'm leaking about 1L of oil every hundred KM or so..

So far money into it is a new gate from toyotafiberglass, next project is the water pump, oil pump, and possibly front/rear main seals.. Haven't been able to trace that damn leak yet... Grr

i paid £2200 ($3500ish) for my 92 hilux surf 2.4td which realy didnt cost me anything as my previous car got wrote off by a fronterra sport an insurance claim and 6 weeks of whiplash got me the lux ive had it 6years and its been an awesome wagon but now it seems it runs a week then breaks then runs a week and breaks something else its been doing this now for the past year and nearly has a yota warranty on it with all the new parts its now got on it but i do think to my self its worth it when she runs right but by is she a tempremental git at the moment

 

my friend bought an 84 4x4 with a blown clutch and 200k miles and a batman symbol painted on the hood for $100 worth of beer and booze! still running it hard after 5 years!

 

payed 500 for my 4runner, needed motor rebuild and other items fixed, had dvd player and 2 10' in back and new front tires. was worth 1500 as was but i told him i would only pay 500 and he said ok....

 

something finally worked for the better for me.

 

Bought my 86 EFI 5 speed with a blown motor for $1000. There were 4 other guys looking at it when I got there. Luckily I was the only one with cash.

 

Just got my 94 Runner lastnight at about 5.
4x4, 5spd, 215k, extensive body rust, 2 new/ 2 bald tires . Primo interior. 3vze with some quirky hesitation going on (show me one that doesn't haha)
Paid $1700 cash for it.

A year and a half ago, bought my 91 PU XtraCab, 4x4 5spd, 161k, 3vze, decent ext/primo int, 4 good tires, color matched shell, and a full tank of gas for $2500 cash.

 

1999 160000 miles for 2200$ then added 1000$ in new brakes frame paint new windshield etc. Things a boss though. Im still looking for a used tow kit ..brush guard...and hellas for it if anyone has them contact marleyws

 

I traded my dad genuine Cobra wheels and tires ($600) for my old 4runner.
