$5800 for my mint 96 w/ 96k.
4x4, 2.7L, 5spd.
The truck looks like it rolled off the showroom floor, inside and out!
Commando alarm and 500w inverter were the only mods.
I just had the recall done on the rear springs and added Bilsteins at all corners.

I payed 900$ for my 1988 4runner 3.0 3VZE SR5, the back fenders were completely rotted half way up the fender, so I cheated bought bushwackers, and BONDO, and 32's now im proud to say it has no visible rust at all, It was also idling to low and running really rough, so i changed the sparks and wires and and now a 204,000 miles it runs like new, the back tailgate was also had a giant dent in it and the back plastic piece that has the words TOYOTA on it were broken, I fixed the dent but have yet to find that plastic part. So Basically for 900$ I got myself a pretty damn nice truck in my opinion.

1988 4Runner
5-speed and 22RE
174,000 miles

I paid $600. It runs great, frame is good, a little rust over the rear wheel wells, crappy paint job, back window wiring is messed up and the interior is pretty beat up. It needed nothing to pass inspection though.
