SAS questions

Ok, first off i have read just about everything i can find regarding SAS kits around here and other forums on the net i.e. Marlin Crawler.

Questions:
1. Whats the best kit to use in your opinion? My truck is a daily driver (approx. 30 mile round trip commute)

2. best spring height? i am currently runnning 33's on a 5'' IFS lift with stock 4.11 gears. Im gonna keep the 33's until the wear away then go to 35's or 37's. i was thinking 4'' spring??

3. Front Driveshaft?? i have seen several square tube driveshafts but my truck is a daily driver, but im also a student so the budget is very limited ( so no pricey custom driveshafts)

i found this driveshaft on east coast gear supply's website: http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-133...shaft-kit.html any thoughts??

i would like for it to sit a few inches higher. im running a 4'' superlift ifs lift kit circa 1990 with 1.5'' bj spacers and 4.5'' rear blocks

budget tech:
63" chevy spring swap for the rear-->read this

Rears up front (RUF)--> read this

i would not recommend the 5" lift, I have it...too high. Keep your COG as low as possible

thanks for the quick replies, im thinking about the 4'' kit for mine cuz 3'' seems awful low... also i have heard that the gaskets and such in the knuckle rebuild kit included with the tg kit are total crap

I use TG kits on my trucks and they are the most complete for the money. Great kit is only as good as the installer.

I have 2 pickups and used 4" springs front and rear and can run 35s easy and 39.5s with firewall tubbing and trimming. 33s will look retarded.

3. Front Driveshaft?? i have seen several square tube driveshafts but my truck is a daily driver, but im also a student so the budget is very limited ( so no pricey custom driveshafts)

Square driveshafts are a poor choice IMO when doing it right is not that expensive especially for a dd.

No need for anything over 4" springs unless you want to run huge tires.

From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
The spring hangers alone will lift it 2-3".

So 4" springs = 7" of lift.
