correct rear shocks for a 2.5" rear lift (4Runner)

I have a 1990 4Runner 4WD. Im lifting the rear with a 2.5" coil spacer and cant seem to find the correct rear lift shocks. Im planning on getting Rancho RS5000 and they only offer 0"-1" lift and 3"-4" lift. Will the 0"-1" lift work for what im doing or will I destroy them because they do not extend far enough? Also Im installing new coils to eliminate the rear sag.

Someone please help me. Thanks

if you're going to replace rear coils why don't you get some land cruiser coils to put in the back instead of spacers and new coils? Not sure if your year uses the front or the back lc for the rear. I have a 2000 and will be using the front coils on the rear of my 4runner.

I agree, if you are buying new coils you should get lifted coils and lose the spacer. LC coils might be a little tall for what you are looking for though. Performance Products, Downeys, or OME would be a good bet. Also if you put longer shocks on it would probably be a good idea to extend the brake lines as the axle will be allowed to travel further away from the truck.

You want a shock that is about 14-15" long collapsed. You probably can get by with a 16" shock if you get a shock with a compression bumpstop included.
