I just used stock length shocks that were already on it. They worked great . Good luck on the balljoints tho. I had to get new ones 80 apiece cause they wouldn't come out without ruining the threads. Hope you have better luck.

Don't do it, I bought this kit and had constant problems with it, my car broke down every week, you will have constant cv problems, and it will require a diff drop, I had a 2" and it still didn't work!
If your using the kit to gain height then your cv's will bind and you'll tear boots non stop, I went through a boot in 4 days!! Plus with a diff drop your diff is much more likely to twist and move when wheelin hard, and it causes a whole world of problems, I finally gave up and took it all off and she hasn't broken yet!
Its too much angle on the cvs for it to ever work well, I wish you all the luck with yours !

Don't use factory ride height shocks with anything bigger then a 1" lift. In most OEM length shocks there isn't enough droop travel (extended length measurement of the shock) to compensate for the change in length of the distance between the mounting points.

For shocks i agree with extreme once you lift it they strech to the max and dont have any give, i went with the pro comp 9000 they run around 40 a shock and ride real well, plus they have an internal bumpstop so that you cant over extend them. i havent got my 1/ 1/2 bj spacers on yet but have 2in blocks in the rear with torson bars crankd at the moment. gota find time to get em done front end is way to stiff.

Strange how the 3" front ball joint spacers appear to be 1/2" shorter than the 2" rear blocks

Not 3" ball joint spacers, but will add 3" of lift after torsion bar adjustment. Gotta love the way people make stuff sound better than it is.

**The front lift Ball Joint Spacer is 1.8" thickness, the vehicle will lift up to 3" with torsion key adjustment after installed.**
**Recommended longer shocks for this kit**

sells bj spacers and others needed for lift. There is also a write up on the first one on what needs to be done. There is also really good write ups on this site just search and you can find the answers.

I have 1.5" balljoint spacers, 6" shackles (1.25" lift), and a 2" bodylift. 33's fit great with room for 35's with "some adjustments" (front valence, pinch weld, backspacing, etc.). My CV boots DID tear after I installed these, but they were original and already cracked. I'll be putting on new CV's in a couple months and we'll see if they tear again! BTW I love the lift and it all cost less than $350 w/o shocks.

Hmm. You caaan run 33s stock yanno. Just mash in the pinch weld, adjust the steering stops, and go for it.

If I were you I'd save up the money for a blazeland lt kit I think their around 700 but will be a better all around lift. And I think it will stress your Cv's less.

Blazeland for the win. Definitely. 700 bucks for 11 inches of clean 4wd travel? Can't beat it.
