How do you turn off the daytime running lights on an 06 crew cab?

 

?????? toyota doesnt have a crew cab. and you usually cant shut drls off anyways. Maybe searching or putting up more info would help.

 

I think he meant four-door Tacome or Tundra. Can that be considered a crew-cab?

And in regards to DRLs - I'm sure it is possible to turn them off. Need to use search first and then follow the directions.

Yes, Toyota has a crew cab, sometimes called a double cab or 4 door. I own a 2005 and in my overseas adventures have seen 3 different styles of toyotas that could be considered as a 'crew cab'

And yes there is a way to override the DRL. My 05 Camry came with it from the factory. I have seen several trucks with the DRL turned off, just need to figure it out. Will post it when I have the info....it is possible....

For the 4th Gen 4runners, you can take your truck into the dealership and they can turn off DRLs with a scan tool. It takes just a few minutes to do. The hard part is convincing the dealership they can do it and doing it for free.

 

heres one for the late 3rd gens. maybe its the same or it will help get the bal rolling.

i always have called 4 door trucks crew cabs. a "work crew" type of truck. ford chevy or yota, CREW CAB!!
