Drop in MPG
Old tires: 30x9.50X15 BFG AT KO
Highway: 21.5 - 22 MPG
Mixed City and Highway: 18 - 19 MPG
New Tires: 31x10.5x15 Good Year Wrangler Silent Armors
Highway: 19 - 19.5 MPG
Mixed City and Highway: 16 - 17.5 MPG
With the new tires I dropped an average of about 1.5 to 2 MPGs. This sucks, but I expected the drop due to the bigger tires and the heavier than normal 31s because of the 'armor' in the tires.
But the drop in MPG is totally worth the safety improvements over the BFGs. The BFGs absolutely SUCKED in the rain. The SAs have sooooo much better wet traction. Can't wait to test in the snow/ice on the drive up to Tahoe this winter. Oh...and these tires are much much quieter.

got a 93 toyota 4runner, 3.0L v6, get about 220 to the tank in 2 wheel drive, which is about 15 to the gallon, in 4wd( winter time in alaska) get about 200 miles to the gallon so just over 13 miles to the gallon, 31.15r tires, no lift...

...to Nickels; you are getting seriously good gas mileage with those giant tires- are you driving through a slip stream, worm hole, or other such anti-matter?
Seriously, very good though. Do you have any body fairings, or anything else to help you with Aerodynamics, or anything under the hood?

I have a K&N filter and a catless exhaust I think 2 inch, and an electric fan. Those are the only mods I have to the motor. I usually get like mid 17 mpg, but lately got like 18.2 (I check it everytime) Im pretty sure my speedometer is pretty on judging by one of the radar signs. I drive it really nice though, and dont like to take it past 2500rpm

'93 4runner 3vze with stock tires/gears, 160k; 17 at best before O2 sensor, a good solid 20mpg after front O2 sensor replaced new.
BUT....
Get alcohol injection, 25% increase in fuel economy, no joke. Extra 50 miles on a tank of gas, extra mileage more than pays for the $4.99/gal methanol and dH2O
Put Devil's Own kits in both my '93 4runner and my '00 tacoma (5vzfe) and wouldn't have it any other way!
135k on my 5vzfe, Supercharged + URD fuel/timing upgrade + meth kit = 20 mpg when punching it hard all the time, around 24 or so if you drive like grandma...
