no offense was taken, but it was painful to review all the money I have sunk into her so far. :pat: and you were close 192k on her now
Post the write up and if I have time I will do it before hand.

Bump for more interest in a product to give 3.4s a run for their money!
4x4Lamm, why blow money for that K&N when you can get a REAL intake kit?
We need people like you that are willling to spend!!

Josh @ CPE sucks
He'd be cool if he said "yes"
I don't see why this isn't offered for 22RE, just wouldn't offer big enough gains? It seems to be the same system just on a smaller motor. If it wouldn't be smog legal, I couldn't do it anyway.

I've personally used CP-E and they are the real deal!
I know this is an old topic, but I just joined the board and wanted to reassure everyone here, that CP-E is the real deal. I just traded my Mazda6s V6 in for my '05 4runner. I purchased their intake and mafci kit. It seriously made a difference in the performance of the car. So much in fact, that the stock wishbone engine mount on the engine snapped from the added torque. I never had my car officially dynoed before or after, but it was a enough of an increase in performance that I needed no convincing. The install was very easy. The mafci attached to the stock ecu via tapping into the wire harness. I have no electrical background and installed it easily. You have the option to use Scotchlocks or soldering. Best of all, no check engine light codes were thrown compared to competing companies like AEM and Injen.
I would highly recommend any of you who are interested in increasing the performance of their 4runner, V8 and V6 included, to donate their car to CP-E. If I lived closer, I would donate my 4runner for testing.
I would also like to mention that for being a smaller company, CP-E has terrific customer service. If you have problems or questions with the product, they are more than willing to help satisfy.
My two cents..

The point of running the before is to have a baseline. If you only do the after then you won't know what the increase is. You will only know what the end result is but you don't kjnow how that would compare to stock due to wear, other mods, etc? I am not sure what you mean by it wouldn't run anyways. Wouldn't you want to know the potential increase before you shell out $500?

Thanks for reminder and welcome to the forum!
This mod is seriously going to be the difference between myself getting a rebuilt/new 3.0 or a 3.4 motor swap! So if axon dont chime in soon i'll give CPE another call and see where it stands...
