The factory recommended NGK V-Power copper plugs. They work the best in my opinion.

*I think you can run any plugs except for the Iridium if you're increasing the gap -- if/when doing the Supra AFM, some have installed the Supra ignitor (leaving the stock one in place as backup), and increased spark plug gap to supra specs.

As for wires, your original ?, there are three options, but if going w/ Supra or other aftermarket ignitor, you want the last one:
-NGK wires
-OEM Denso and/or Dealership Wires
-Magnecor 8mm wires (claims to fit factory wire holders)
(some run accel rather than Magnecor, but accel only sells universal fit wire sets...)

Not fair! Nice deal though, did you pull that from a junkyard or was someone really just selling headers for $60?

Well the story goes like this:::

I have some friends who work at a local Toyota dealership. A 91 ex cab 4x4 truck came in that the owner wanted some maintenance done and for the truck to be returned to stock because it was to loud.,... so my friend pulled off the headers that he got to keep and called me up and offered them to me for 60 bucks since I have the only 3vze motor in the group. I said "Hell Ya!"

The moral of the story is get some friends who work at local dealership.....

Gamefreakgc, what Magnaflow are you running on your truck? I'm looking into doing the cat back on my daughter's truck soon. I want to get that done before doing any of the other mods such as the AFM.

Also, I ran across an ECT mod on our forums, anyone done this? I realize it's not going to post huge gains, but is simple enough.

that's for obd2 vehicles, so afaik, it won't apply to anyone in this subforum, since '95 and down are obd1(?)

Seriously? Too loud? Now his truck is a slug... lol!

xtremewlr, I believe it's part #11225. Reason I say that is because I didn't put it on (I don't have a welder), the shop selected the right one. I'm 95% sure, it measures the same size and the same piping (there's only one I could find. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...=main&id=11325

Well I took another long look at the headers. There is a hole in the collector at the flange. That would be why they were loud. A little welding and they will be good as new....
