Well now you have the timing lined up, thats good.
Did you make sure the dizzy rotor was pointing to #1 when all the matchmarks were lined up? it can be easy to get the dizzy set wrong, since there are 10 or so possible ways to set it in there.

yes it is pointed at #1 also lined up the mark on the bottom of the dizzy shaft
with the mark on the gear.
That is a 10-4....got lots of gas. opened the line to the cold start injector while it was being cranked and it sprayed all over. I had all the plugs out yesterday and lined them up on the fender while cranking the engine I could see all 6 sparking. it was a strong blue arc.
with the mark on the gear.

So my guess would be it its because of the timing. (duh, )
Like deathcougar said, make sure the disy was set in the right position!
When the cam gears where in the right spot, the disy should have been at #1.

So then you have:
Fuel
Spark
Timing is set correctly (sounds like)
And obviously air. I am assuming you DO have the Airflow meter hooked up? Won't start without that
So you have fuel IN the cylinders.
And you have Spark IN the cylinders.
And the engine is PERFECTLY in time.
And it won't fire?
Now I am stumped.

How would one tell if it's wrong? I have the crank set to 0* and both cams at the notch. I know very little about the 3.0 and just set things up like on the 22re.
