Ok here is the deal After I went wheelin the last time in virginia, I was getting ready to move back to illinois, and the day before i left I noticed on the rear axle, that the driver side bracket that seats the rod which connects the frame and axle together, is completely off. It is broken off cleanly along the welds. I can move it up and back down. It is my daily driver so I have to drive it but how pertinent are we looking at getting this fixed, and how much....could it just be welded back in place or what do yall recommend. Also, I am almost done piecing together my cruiser coil lift. I just need the brake line and the shocks. So I am planning on definately killing two birds with one stone.
thanks everyone

just a head's up...
state your vehicle year, etc., and pictures help.
but it sounds like the panhard rod mount broke off. you should be able to weld it back in place, but there is a reason the welds broke.
you may find the rear end wallows or sways a bit much or the truck feels squirrly... and that can be unsettling to you... until you fix it.

at least get the JB weld part right, at least you didn't say zip tie it.
video of jb welding suspension components:

why did the wheel go the opposite way
to the OP: get it fixed asap. it affects how the vehicle handles, could be an expensive liability...
