ok enough beating around the bush im just gonna dive head first into this. im just gonna strip the motor down to the knock sensor check to see if its loose or if the wire is visibly bad. if visually nothing is wrong im gonna go to the stealership to get gaskets a new sensor and new wire. i guess after being without your truck for a week will make a few extra dollars on parts seem not so expensive

OK Everyone the problem is finally fixed!!!!!. It turns out the reason i was getting a code 52 and teh studdering was because of a faulty ECM!!! my mechanic tested the knock sensor and the pigtail and the wiring harness and all of them check out OK so i ordered an ECM off of eBay and bada bing bada boom everything is running smooth. i hope this helps anyone out there with a similar problem

Hey, I've been having the same problem for months too, but have just been putting up with it. I adjusted my idle a bit and that seems to helped a bit, but every now and then I still get the studdering around 2500-3000RPM.
Just about ready to order a TPS from ebay when I saw this post. But I have to ask.....what's an ECM, where does it go and what does it do???
Cheers
Steve
