Why not just cut off your exhaust just behind the manifold? Wouldn't it sound Harley enough for you?

If you want loud, get a glasspack. But it gets a little old after awhile.

i went and got glasspack duals with 2.5" pipe frm the muffler to the 3.5 tips exiting at 45 degree behind tires... i really like them... the glass hasn't broke up so it just has a real deep tone and is kinda loud

i'm never gonna put glasspacks on mine again. it did sound pretty cool, but i work late sometimes, and when that bad boy burnt out, that was it, every light in the neighborhood went on when i drove down the street. maybe i'm just a little too caring. :-\ lol i'm putting a header on it now with thorley exhaust. life is good.

Not to sound like a jerk, but please don't wheel illegally and then brag about it on the internet. Actually, please don't wheel illegally. Thanks.

On topic, I had a glasspack on my 82 for all of a day. I hated it. Went with a Gibson after I took it off, and was much happier.

had one on my 79 with the 20R, with a header, no cat, straight back with 2.5" pipes, decently loud

had one on my 90 4runner with the 22RE, header, cat punched out, 2.5" pipes, very loud, cat was burnt out, set car alarms off alot, woke people up,sounded awesome when u let out of it at around 4-5K, pops and whatnot, made children cry and old lady's scream

i plan on putting one on my 87 4Runner as well with a header a 2.5" pipes

i love the sound of a glasspack and 2.5" pipes on R series motors (btw, 2.25" pipes drastically quite the sound)
