does any one have a pic of there dash when all the warning lights are lit up? i think a lot of mine are burnt up so i would like to check thanks

i looked today and the only lights i have are the, oil light, battery light, check light, and P brake light is that all i need?

 

that should be all that lights up when you have the key turned all the way without the engine actually running...i have the same lights on my 98 4runner on b4 i crank it up, along with the abs light, but i'm not sure if you have that...

 

Yeah that should be all of them. The only dash light that doesn't illuminate until you tell it to is the green 4WD light.

 

my rear anti lock and the seatbelt light come on.

 

how bout the gas light?? my 89 has the spot for the gas light but it never lights up...only ones that come on are the same as has already been talked about... should i dive into the consol or would that be a lost cause.

 

well taking your instrument cluster off doesnt take that long to do. but as far as i know the only way to test your gas light for sure is to drive till you run out of gas, if it doesnt come on you know its burnt out

 

my 4x4 green light doesnt come on... should i be worried? cuz im not. lol.

 

My brake light never come on Must be that bunch of wires that are cut up and tucked under my dash

yes my gas light comes on, I never really drive my truck till the light comes on though, but I was commin down a big hill the other day ( stopped at a light) and my gas light came on, so it works.

Well unless you have a locker, you are still in 2wd

 

I have that little gas idiot light but it never comes on... yes I have ran her dry... another light that you might usually see is the blue high beam light... if you have an auto tranny you might get the orange AT temp light but only if it is overheating... some of the light spots in the cluster don't apply to the vehicles we have here... older 84-88 trucks have a light for the diesel water seperator for example...
