Best advice I can give is GOOGLE/YOUTUBE. "BEST" exhaust in terms of sound is all at the discretion of the end user. If you want to talk about headers then LCE engineering or Low Range Offroad is where you want to look. I like the Aero turbine mufflers for the look, price and compactness but the can be loud as they are in the same category as glass pack type mufflers.

A muffler from a stock 1987-2004 v8 mustang has always sounded good to me. Magnaflows and Flowmasters are annoying on Toyota. and make sure you run it out from under the bed so you can still hear your music. . Lucky for me, my mustang needs some louder mufflers and my 22r needs a mustang muffler.

If you're looking for a stock style replacement, the Bosal sounds pretty good to me and is a direct fit. I can attempt to get a recording at idle if you are interested. It's not a 22re though.

I'm using a Bosal exhaust from a Tacoma 3RZ. Not quite 2.5 and not too loud. My engine isn't stock though.

I'm fond of my flowmaster 40, bout as deep and throaty as a 4 cylinder can get imo, but look up clips on youtube, I found the magnaflows to be too ricey sounding but some ppl say different
