Best radiator at best price from best vendor
Replacing the radiator on a 94 pickup (22RE base) that is not cooling like it should due to the PO seriously neglecting the entire cooling system and the radiator consequently scaling up like crazy, not able to keep the temps down any longer. Makes me sick when people abuse these engines. A super flush (the chemical variety) could not even descale this radiator... so time for a new one.
MY QUESTIONS ARE...
WHAT IS THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE AND QUALITY RADIATOR i CAN FIND?
WHO SELLS IT FOR THE BEST PRICE?
Where is the write-up for this procedure in the forum (could not find it after a cursory search?)
Thanks.

If by "a super flush" you mean "Prestone Super Flush" there should be no surprise that it didn't remove anything. There's absolutely nothing in that product which could remove anything except excess acidity: it's only ingredient according to the msds appears to be sodium citrate, a food additive and alkalyzer. And it's only 10% sodium citrate, the rest being water. If that really is the only ingredient, it's literally the same chemical as an alka seltzer tablet. But if it was "Gunk Super Radiator Flush" you tried, and nothing happened, then you really do have a serious problem, because that product is a real flushing and descaling agent. If you haven't tried it, I'd give it a go before spending money on a radiator. Especially since if the radiator is gunked up, so is the rest of the cooling loop.
