Bosal muffler (284001) installation
Here are some photos of the install. It sounds great, nice and low, but not loud. I can't remember what stock sounded like without leaks, but I don't recall liking the stock exhaust note as much as this Bosal.

Nice!
I replaced the same section of muffler / exhaust pipe in my truck last spring.
I had a huge hole develop at the back of the OEM muffler and it sounded like a badly put together aftermarket Honda exhaust.
The new Bosal exhaust is much quieter, and sounds really nice.
Enjoy!

I need to do a cat back on my 92 2wd. The glass pack is out of glass I reckon lol plus I patched some holes that will just get bigger. Can't decide on Walker or Bosal.
I have a Bosal cat back on my 1990 Volvo, and it still looks good three years later.
Did you have to use any clamps to hold the flange against the cat flange to get it to bolt up?

No clamps were needed, it bolted up to the cat flange same as the stock piece.

The muffler had a growing hole and the gaskets at both of the cat flanges didn't hold up. I used the ones supplied by Eastern Catalytic when I replaced the cat a few years back.
I am definitely enjoying driving around more with the new exhaust!
