anyone know the proper name of the hood squirters

I am trying to order some online and I cant find them in the parts cataloges and I was going to search but I am thinking that 'squirter thingies" isnt going to get many results.

Or if you know the part number for a 92 pickup.........

Blow through them with a blow tip and make sure all the dirt and stuff is cleared outta 'em.

Or for $10 you could get some of those wicked cool fast and furious lighted led nozzles in like orange or hot pink or something

I usually call them windshield pee-ers(the alternate form of pee). You can figure that out yourself.

All you need to do is unplug the ones you have and then re-adjust them to hit the windshield properly.

On most cars you can just stick an awl or needle into the nozzle and turn it to where you want it. Its a ball and socket.

In their new form do they throw up a mist or a stream. I'd like a "shower" rather than a "jet" using the terminology of my garden hose sprayer

Mine are like above. One too low and one too high. The other off to the side, and then in the middle of the windshield pretty good.

Will sticking a needle in them get them to spray a wide shower pattern instead of a straight thin stream like they do now?

Ok so I actually got up off my butt and looked at mine. Apparently they are not adjustable. But you could probably poke a needle in them and clean out any crud that has gathered there to try and improve the spray pattern. Short of that, may need to replace them.

I think that the needle would just make them spray in a straight stream moreso.

I'll try boiling and compressed air and see
