Haha stepside is got it right. If you guys ever come to saipan or guam check in with one of us and I guarantee you will leave happy and maybe 15lbs heavier. I'm heading back in may for summer break where I drive my high school hot rod hahah, it's my loud rust bucket 92 pickup. I've been trying to get the LC headers off that thing by my old man won't let me since it's a selling point...

Hey guys Good news and bad news. I haven't taken many pictures this time around. I've noticed that in most rebuild threads there are tons of pictures of the tear down and stuff then everything sorta comes together and the OP says something like "after you do so and so put everything back together in reverse order" or something like that. I have fallen victim to that. My engine bay looks like an engine bay now. I have just about everything together except fluid in the rad and front diff reassembled.

MY Problem:
- It doesn't start. The starter doesn't even turn over. The starter doesn't start. All I hear is the starter relay click and like something that sounds like a wire shorting on metal. I looked and looked didn't find anything. The battery is charged, battery cables are tight and I think everything is plugged in except for this thing:

- I have a hunch this might be behind why my truck is not starting. It is attached to the line that runs from the starter to the battery. Maybe I'm supposed to plug it in? Anyone know where?!?!? I'm sooo closee!!

-Second problem are vaccum line related (didn't label as well as I thought)
-I'll post about that later

Victory Shot

Thanks to stepside for this idea(removing engine mounts and jacking up the engine via transmission)

I've always been told to have something between the jack and "soft" parts... 2 x4's, old plastic cutting boards a few rags whatever....

........waiting for more pics

Yeah, in retrospect I should have used something soft between the jack and transmission but let me tell you, when you drop your front diff. (if you go that route) you really don't care at that point. hahah well atleast thats how I felt.

SHE'S ALIVE!!!!!

runs a little rough since I'm missing an down pipe bolt.
I pulled the codes and came up with this:
||||| |, and ||||| ||.

If I'm not mistaken those are codes 51 and 52. which mean:

[51]
SWITCH SIGNALS

IDL (tps) CONTACTS OFF, NEUTRAL START SWITCH OFF, A/C SWITCH "ON" SIGNAL TO ECU

WITH DIAGNOSTIC CHECK CONNECTOR SHORTED

--A/C SWITCH/CIRCUIT

--A/C AMPLIFIER

--TPS/CIRCUIT

--NEUTRAL START SWITCH/CIRCUIT

--ECU

And:

[52]
KNOCK SENSOR SIGNAL--OPEN OR SHORT IN KNOCK SENSOR SIGNAL

--KNOCK SENSOR/CIRCUIT

ECU

Oh boy....

Last bit:

- Does anyone have a good 22re vaccum line layout? not the printed one but like pictures? I thought I had the labeling down but the white out smeared out... Thanks for the help guys!
