I'm curious about these 190 horse 3.0s what do they do too pull 40hp out of the ole 3.slow.do they provide any dyno charts? Another thing I wonder about is the fuel economy and more importantly longevity. I've seen first hand just how thin the cylinder walls are on the 3.0 and would be sceptical of a large bore and high compression.

It apparently is bored 20 over, has an upgraded cam and oversized valves.

Has a 70k warranty.

I would imagine economy about the samr . I'm hoping for better though. I was getting 15mpg with lest motor. That's city. Highway was 13mpg.

Gotta break it in before I do too much hauling butt.
And get my exhaust completely rerouted. If I get it running in time tomorrow I'll be taking it for exhaust.

I'll see what I can do video wise though!

Cant decide whether to save a buck and use my existing magnaflow muffler or get new.

It was too quiet before, like stock at idle. And while driving I could barely her it. Don't want super loud just a bit more than what I have.

I just got promoted and I'm fortunate enough that my new boss offered to let me borrow his spare car! So I haven't been without transportation completely.

its always done both in my experience, but that was on a v8. Can't imagine a v6 would be any different.

Digging the engine man, excited to see a video!

Looks like you're running two oil filters as well. I always knew the 3VZE had two oil filter bosses but I have't seen a block yet with both of them machined to accept two oil filters. Or are my eyes deceiving me?

3rd one is a video, click it

Sorry forgot to take pics of it together. Will next time.
Way to loud with headers only.

Didn't get to drive it, started it at like 1230 at night and didn't get to break it in or anything

Can anyone tell me how the part of the wireing harness that goes down to starter and back to tranny and o2 sensor routes?

I have it all hooked up and it fits but I'm not confident in the routing. Just from where it splits from engine harness till it gets to tranny. I got it from tranny back.

Can someone go look for me?

The crush in your bend reduces the flow significantly and will create turbulence. you are better off using the stock pipe.

Engine looks great BTW.

Try http://www.siliconeintakes.com/, cheap and decent stuff. Better the. Spectra.

The wiring:
I have an 88 so keep that in mind.
My o2 is on the driver side and runs up thru the drivers floor. Separate from the engine harness under the hood.
The wiring for the starter and Trans should run down the side of the block on passenger side. Should be some tabs on the Trans to attach the harness.

Hope that helps.
