Ok guys I just done the zuk mod on the rear of my 85 straight axle it helped tremendously. But now what can I do to revive the front leaf springs? Anything besides new leafs? Any kind of zuk mod for the front or any kind of coil over shocks? It’s not far from the bump stops right now and has been hitting them on these rough dirt roads. It’s my hunting truck so it’s always off-road. Thanks for any help.

Why don't you just get new leafs. Fix the problem, don't hide it.

 

You can also just pull your old leaf packs apart and add a leaf or 2. A lot cheaper than new leafs.

 

Or re-arch stock springs to match the rear lift because OME springs probably brought the rear 2 inches higher than stock.

 

Forgot about that option.

 

Thought of re-arching for my rears but my $70 Zuk has taken me to prettier, wilder places than Nordstrom where many overly-outfitted trucks had been stuck so, leaving the zuks alone

 

But snorkels are good when you forget where you parked.
