Uhh... your supposed to take the wheels off when you paint them, and if you leave mud like that on your truck it will rot out completely in no time.

Well it might look better if you cleaned the tires. How can you paint your rims without cleaning the tires?

Spend about 6 hours detailing the yota then spend some time preping your wheels for paint

WHAT? are you guys complaining that his truck is too dirty?

Icky, it's all dirty and has mud on it.

also i am not sure where camo31"10.50" lives, but my friend has NEVER washed his rig in 3 years and it has mud 6 in thick so hard you have to hammer it off... No rust It just depends on where you live... only problem i have found with a dirty truck around here is it sucks to have to work on them.

Looks nice... besides looks like in a week the wheels will be compleatly covered in dirt anyway and will likely NEVER surface again.

Well the frame will be packed full of mud and it just sits in there and every time it gets wet it stays wet for weeks and it will eventually rot out from the inside. The body is the same deal, wet mud on there for long periods of time(months) leads to rust.. Not to mention mechanical parts diffs, brake drums, rotors, bearings etc shouldn't be covered in mud all of the time, its good to wash your rig, Sure it looks cool all muddy but old first gens look just as cool all clean.

Haha i spray the outa the bottom of my runner with my power washer right after i get home from a trail ride but i leave the dirt up top on for a while haha because a clean 4x4 is not realistic...........the rims look great too

It's Oklahoma. Rust will happen.

Hey...Camo....since it appears that you're just experimenting, I bet a gunmetal grey would look really good. Especially with the colors your truck happens to be sporting. Not that the black isn't nice, or anything. Just a thought.

Paint each wheel a different color and see if anyone notices. As long as it cranks fron the inside it's a nice ride.
