Original 22R bottom end with 195k miles; 20R head with mild port work, OS valves and special undercut; Weber 38/38; LCE street performer cam. I don't like headers, so I use the factory manifold and welded my own 2" straight-through exhaust with side-exit just in front of the driver's side leaf shackle. Factory AC was recharged and works fine, though I need a new belt. Isn't even remotely comparable in terms of power vs a stock 22R. Next rebuild the top end will see even bigger valves, serious port work and an LCE mild stage 2 cam. As it is, it purrs like a kitten with a nice, smooth idle for the cam size. Fuel economy ranges from 15-18 average.

The wheels are Boyds. The rear bumper is a later model off of Eddie Vedder's 2wd truck. He replaced his bumper with a flat-black customized one so now my truck blasts Pearl Jam in the back. I have Rampage H4 lenses up front with super bright Sylvannia bulbs and a Putco headlight harness. I also put in a nice bright LED interior bulb. I replaced all of the visible exterior body screws/bolts/nuts with stainless. This was a camper hauler at one time, so that's why it has the tie-downs on the box.

It also has a custom 24 or 26 gallon fuel tank. Can't remember what size. I run the stock mechanical fuel pump sans regulator and have a backup electric ONAN 2.5psi fuel pump on the passenger wheel well. The backup pump only needs one wire to hook up and to connect the fuel lines. I used this ONAN pump sans regulator on a 20R for years. They're cheap, quiet, simple and reliable. If anyone ever needs it I can rattle off the P/N.

This is the way I want to go as well. Frame off and add the roll bar. Ever since I saw back to the future the roll bar has been a must

Thanks Toyo,
Clean her up, get a lift kit and possibly start taking the body off the chassis for some welding and cleaning up then paint.

they should pay my airfare to Australia and to ship it to the US just to get it off the road

Stupid government keeping stuff like this off the roads of the US. I mean a $50 customs fee would be reasonable right

Robb, If you really wanted to buy it I could get you some help with the logistics. My father-in-law lives a couple hours south of Brisbane and has shipped vehicles to the US before.

bad day for the yota. I was working on the floor boards in the cab. I hopped out to go cut the steel plates and as I climbed out my classmate started his ford ranger (smh) in first gear, with no brakes hooked up, and was sitting sideways with his feet out the door.(I guess he dident think to hit the clutch) and his oversized brush bumper rammed the ass end of my frame. at this time my driver side was on jackstands in the front because I was working on brakes so it just pushed it right off.

the truck kept on slidding in to the office wall and bent the front end right up against the motor, cracked windshield, bent hood, bent crossmember, door doesent shut properly*(possibly bent frame?)but no one was hurt and i would have been in the cab if it happened a second earlier.

I would love to do it but I would need to research the customs logistics before I pursued it.
